We are seeking an experienced Head of Data to take the lead in shaping a cutting-edge data landscape. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable, cloud-based data solutions and lead a team of Software Developers and Data Engineers. You will be responsible for modernizing the data infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and resilience, and playing a key role in advancing data-driven innovation within a complex and regulated industry.

Your Responsibilities

•Lead and expand a team focused on Data Engineering, Software Development, and Data Science

•Design and develop the next-generation data platform using GCP or Azure

•Optimize and streamline existing data architecture and reporting systems

•Ensure operational excellence, scalability, and compliance in a high-impact environment

•Shape the future of IT operational models and drive strategic decision-making

Your Profile

•Extensive experience in data solutions on GCP or Azure

•Strong technical background with Java, Python, Kubernetes, Databricks, BigQuery, Oracle, ETL/ELT, Terraform

•Leadership experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams

•Strategic mindset with a strong ability to engage stakeholders at a senior level

•Fluent in English and German
