Your tasks:

In the role of a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d), the candidate will be an essential part of the software development/engineering team, working with various internal and external stakeholders to build and improve development tools and infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for implementing development and release processes in line with security requirements to avoid cyber security threats, as well as assisting the different development teams in fully utilizing target platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Public Cloud, Linux, etc.). Additionally, the candidate will be involved in setting up the roadmap for public cloud migration and technology utilization. Required skills:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Practical knowledge in developing engineering applications for a large corporation is welcome
• Experience with Git and Git workflows, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Public Cloud (preferably Google Cloud Platform), and Linux
• Strong knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Docker, etc.)
• Experience in developing with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python)
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Prometheus, and observability in general
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• A problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
• The ability to provide guidance for colleagues and management
• Excellent written and spoken English AND German skills
